SINGER/SONGWRITER/PULITZER PRIZE NOMINEE - This week's guest is TYANA PARR (Ty Parr). She
is a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, engineer and producer. She plays the flute, piano, blues harp,
keyboard and all Latin percussion instruments, not to mention that she was blessed with an extraordinarily
rich voice. She was a lead vocalist with Englebert Humperdinck, Smokey Robinson, Ramsey Lewis, Reo
Speedwagon, Great White, which brought forth the Platinum Block-Buster album, "Once Bitten, Twice Shy."
Most notably, Ty Parr received a Pulitzer Prize nomination for her work on the 1996 church-burnings story
published in USA TODAY of which she is very proud.
