SENIOR MINISTER | ARTISTIC DIRECTOR/CONDUCTOR - Dr. R. Scott Colglazier is Senior Minister
of First Congregational Church of Los Angeles which is a progressive, arts-oriented church. He is also the
author of the popular blog entitled: "Take A Breath". He is the author of several books, including his most
recent work "A Dictionary of Faith." His work as a religious leader has been featured on CNN, The Today Show,
and The CBS Morning Show, as well as in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and The New York Times.
Dr. Joseph Nadeau is the Artistic Director and Conductor of First Congregational Church of Los Angeles. Joe
holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education and a Master’s and Doctoral degree in choral conducting.
He regularly serves as guest speaker, presenter, clinician, and conductor for regional, state, and national
conferences and music festivals. Joe has commissioned over one hundred new works and arrangements, produced
eight commercial CD’s, two DVD’s and performed with Heartland Men’s Chorus for over five thousand elementary,
middle school, and high school students in special outreach concerts. He has taught at every educational
level from pre-K through college. As an active member of GALA Choruses for over twenty years, Joe believes in
the power of the LGBT choral movement to make this world a better place for everyone. He is also the Artistic
