PRODUCER | ACTRESS | DANCER - This week our guest is LaQuita Cleare. LaQuita has been in
many stage productions ranging from Shakespeare’s “Much Ado about Nothing” to an all female version
of "Glengarry Glen Ross." She has appeared in TV, film, and commercials.
Currently, she appears in the film “Sister’s Keeper” with Eric Roberts and the film
“Suicide Dolls” with Anne-Marie Johnson, Heather Tom, Christy Carlson Romano, and Steven Bauer.
The film has played several film festivals including: The St. Louis Film Festival, where it won the New
Filmmakers Forum, American Black Film Festival, and South Africa Int. Film Festival. The film will have an
upcoming screening in Los Angeles at the Pan African Film Festival.
LaQuita formed the production company, "Salsera Productions, LLC" to bring character driven stories to the
screen. Her company has produced several projects including a web series called “Secret Fridays,”
which is available for purchase on Amazon. Most recently, LaQuita was featured in a the popular Chicago
paper, The Daily Herald.
