Description

On this week's episode, Bruce and Wayne have special guest Kimberly DiPadova, she had a catering business that had connections with many higher-ups in society. During this time she did a favor for someone which caused her to get charged with conspiracy and 108 months of time. She began her sentence in 2016 and moved between multiple facilities. During the early stages of the Covid-19 epidemic, prisons found ways to lower the population inside the buildings, and to do this they would find inmates with low risk and tried to move them elsewhere. This allowed Kimberly to get ahead of the curve and let her be qualified to be in a federal halfway house. Here she had more independence but had ankle monitors and they could finish their sentence at these houses. Bruce explains the finer details of the process to get to a halfway house. Though she was “back in society" she still was very limited in what she could do and had to get passes to do things. She also went through a very difficult divorce but was able to retain custody of her son even though she was finishing her sentence. Kimberly discusses the influence Bruce has had on her personal life as well as helping her get through her prison time. This is a very informative and helpful episode for those who want to know about the prison system and how they can find help with their prison time.
