Today, with special guest Dr. Aaron Pierce, forensic sciences expert, and criminologist we explored a number of current issues in forensic psychology and his role in working within the legal system. One topic he covered that we often hear about in high-profile cases across the country was false allegations of sexual abuse. Dr. Pierce explained what this construct is and what he looks for to help law enforcement and attorneys determine whether an allegation is true or false, as well as some of the biases he sees in the legal system regarding these cases.
