This week's episode of The Concierge Coaches Show features Bruce and Wayne with special guests Jamie Mcgibbin and Dustin Weaver. Jamie is currently in recovery. She also comes from the world of business marketing. Through her history with healing, she became involved with specialty courts and DWI courts. This eventually led her to start a nonprofit organization called, “Life Giving Life." Both Dustin and Jamie hope to start another group called, “Restoration Recovery group." The goal is to help the entire person and help clients with the trials of life. Not only do they have in-person sessions, they also offer virtual meetings for those seeking sobriety. Later in the program, Wayne asks about the business and accountability side of the services provided. Jamie explains how they make revenue and the techniques used to help hold the clients accountable. Another aspect of the program is that they offer multiple avenues of help, for example, the participants are welcome to join AA groups or do whatever helps long-term success. Jamie and Dustin also want their clients to embrace their own recovery and not its white knuckle their way through. Later Dustin explains the long-term goals for the practice. His plan is to start a sober awareness run called “Texas 1000". This will spread across all of Texas and have life coaching mixed in with physical fitness and goals for participants to pursue and achieve.
