This week Bruce and Wayne had special guest Kyle Sandler, who was a former BOP inmate. He was a part of startup America, formed by the Obama administration, he also was an entrepreneur resident at Auburn University. On the podcast, they discussed President Trump's first step act, which allows nonviolent inmates an opportunity to leave the prison earlier and get back into a community. In 2018 Kyle was charged with fraud and sentenced to 63 months in federal prison. However, he was let out a year early through the first step act. Throughout the podcast, Kyle and Bruce discuss his time in prison and the process of how he was released. They also talk about Halfway Houses. This is a great listen on how getting out of prison works and how inmates can learn the system. Later, Kyle discusses how he helps ex-convicts use their skills for positive entrepreneurship, used through RazorWire Media.
