This week Bruce and Wayne had guest Lanlelyn Naylor, she works for Saladmaster in Dallas Texas. She has a vibrant personality and wins many people over through her work ethic and determination. Her family came from humble beginnings and Lanlelyn, with her sister, worked their way into successful careers. She has a very servant-like mindset and wants to be a blessing to others and this allows her to reach more people and become an effective leader. In college, she helped raise money for an orphanage and this began her desire to help others. After college, she moved to America. Today she has purchased land and is planning to build a community for an orphanage. Her main goal is to pursue a life of purpose and wants to extend kindness to them so they can give it to others. She discusses 3 important lessons she has learned and wants others to learn as well. She believes people should dive all the way into their work and learn from their experiences. She has a partnership with Catholic services in Washington State where they help provide rental homes for the homeless, she also has a nonprofit organization called “Hunger with Grace". She uses Facebook to help promote her work and her network of friends to help spread her work. Through Saladmaster, she tries to encourage people to eat better and take care of their bodies and overall health. Wayne explained how he has learned that there are usually 2 types of people in the world, givers or takers. This is a very insightful episode and helps give wisdom into the business and sales world.
