Part of God's original design for mankind was to enjoy the pleasures of the world. David and Solomon tell us that God is still a God of pleasure, but Solomon warns that if we seek pleasure as the end game, it is but a vanity. If we seek God. the giver of pleasure, we are tapping into an eternal source of pleasure.
