In this episode, we finish our discussion of an article that Matthew wrote for Beggar’s Bread. The article was published in two parts, and here we focus on Part 2. We discuss the challenges LDS have integrating what past leaders have taught about perfectionism with the more recent focus on grace within LDS discourse, and how the lingering teachings and practices related to exaltation challenge their ability to so integrate.
