SHIFT: Faithful Living in a Changing Culture - a Study of Daniel
Last week we saw how God blessed Daniel and his friends when they refused to SHIFT and continued to follow God's ways even when doing so meant they could die. Although in our culture, we may not risk our lives following God's ways, following Jesus is still radical. It stands out as very different from those around us. This week, as we study the 2nd chapter of Daniel, we'll discover one particular way that following Jesus goes against the world's current. The world teaches us to depend on ourselves - our gifts, our resources, our talents. Following Jesus means learning to depend on God and others.
