Dorcas “Darkey” Kelley, was the madam of a brothel in Dublin, Ireland. Dorcas was arrested and convicted of killing a shoemaker, named John Dowling. For her crime, she was partially hung, and burned at the stake in 1761. Kelley has been connected to the scandalous misdeeds of the Earl of Carhampton, Simon Luttrell, and his son, Henry.
