We hear the same Gospel every year on this Sunday - Jesus coming into the fear and isolation of the disciples on Easter Sunday night and wishing them peace.  And this is what divine mercy looks like...not just for those disciples all those years ago, but for you and I now.  Jesus does not stay distant.  There is no wall too tall or locked too tight into which Jesus will not go to meet with us.
