What does it take to be a disciple of Jesus Christ?  Well, a whole lot, really.  It takes tenacity.  It takes strength.  But more than anything?  It takes presence.  It simply means we need to show up and be counted.  Often times we can fall into the trap of perfectionism, knowledge or righteousness before we can say yes to this call.  Our readings today dispel this notion.  We can either listen to the voice and call of Jesus, or the voices in our heads telling us that we are not good enough.  Our choice.
