Suffering is a reality in the world.  It was true for Jesus.  It will be true for us.  We live most of our lives in between Good Friday and Easter Sunday - in that middle space that holds the suffering of the past and has not experienced the full resurrection of the future.  Our readings for Palm Sunday take us right to that space.  But don't lose heart - we are not at the end.
