Jesus was born in Bethlehem to connect to the history of God's chosen people

   Ruth's Bethlehem - God sends the Redeemer of the world to a place remembered for the redemption of the line of David

   David's Bethlehem - God sent the one who is the Living Water to the place known by David as a source of refreshing water
