This week, we're starting our four week Advent series leading into Christmas, named after what Gabriel says to Mary when Jesus' birth is announced. To start off, we consider the word Hope and how God acted in mighty ways to save His people in the past, including the coming of Christ. As we look to the future and our Hope of Christ's return, we are reminded of the part we also play in hope.
