The
late John Ward was one of Roger Hoover's inspirations to get into broadcasting.
He heavily influenced Broadcaster Hour guests Bob Kesling and Mike Keith, who
worked with Ward for Vol Network broadcasts of Tennessee football. Neil Price,
like Hoover, also grew up in East Tennessee with Ward's games constantly on the
radio. These men give their thoughts on the legendary "Voice of the
Vols" for Tennessee basketball for 34 seasons (1965-1999) and for UT
