Mark Divine is a former Navy SEAL Commander, serial entrepreneur, bestselling author, and adjunct professor who shares his lessons on self-mastery, mental toughness, and inner peace with the people whose lives he impacts. He is the founder of SEALFIT, an integrated training program most famously known for its grueling Kokoro Camp, which is a Navy SEAL Hell Week simulation event which involved 50 hours of nonstop physical and mental training with no sleep. While Mark embodies the mental toughness and resiliency that Navy SEALs carry with them, signified by him graduating the top of his class in BUD/S, he is also a powerful advocate of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and spiritual development. He teaches theses areas through various programs such as his Unbeatable Mind brand, Unbeatable Mind Podcast, and Kokoro Yoga. All in all, Mark’s work revolves around helping people become the best version of themselves. He is the author of three New York Times Best Selling Books: “8 Weeks to SEALFIT”, “Kokoro Yoga”, and “The Way of the SEAL”.
In this episode, Mark and I discuss how to find your purpose in life, the key skills you need to develop in order to become mentally resilient, and why a disciplined training regimen is crucial to live a fulfilling life.
