Description

PNN has been concerned for sometime about the END of LITERACY. About the shockingly decreasing number of people that read books, newspapers and even blogs. We have invited a cross section of writers. Science writers, journalists and poets to discuss literacy and where will a post literate society find its moorings for citizenship. Our authors are; Brook Hines  - Political Journalist/Blogger, Barbara Horn - Visionary / Hypnotist Healer, Brian Malow - Science Writer,  Debra Morgan - Blogger and Organizer, Ashlie Allen - Poet and Flash Fiction Editor,  Richard Cytowic Professor of Neurology and Author, Eric Wagner Poet and Sage and of course your host, Rick Spisak Essayist / Dramatist / Poet and Producer. We’ll be discussing literacy, journalism, writing and citizenship.

I want to discuss these and other questions with writers, poets and journalists who are compelled to work with words.

1. What is the value of writing in a world that seems to value literacy less and less
2. We see the evidence of a decreasing attention span. The death of newspapers - and yet writers and poets - continue writing to a smaller and smaller audience.Join us Sunday 7/26/15 7pm (Eastern)
