There are various teachings on the “rapture” today, but the most popular one says that “Christians” will be taken away first and those who remain will go through great tribulations and troubles here on earth. Since the term “rapture” does not appear in Scripture and since the doctrine of the modern “rapture” has only been around for a couple hundred years, it would be wise to see what the Bible says about it.
