Hi Barbies!
Welcome back, fam! This epsiode has been long awaited to record. Listen, it took awhile for me to get my ass to the movie theater. We've seen all the memes, tiktoks, and maybe even seem The Barbie Movie more than once.
There was no other choice than to unpack it and have a conversation about it's importance. This is also a time where we can reflect on the media's influence on us growing up and how movies have shaped how we thought, feel, and the stories we tell ourselves. WHAT IF we decided to take the path that might look different, regardless of what age, race, ability, who we love etc. WHAT IF we finally lived in our truest form and took the time to explore what that even looks like.
I hope this episode affirms for you what you know to be true deep down, and maybe offers new perspectives on the movie that hadn't crossed your mind.
