We discuss the definition of reconciliation as well as the Biblical meaning. We are being reconciled with the Father through Jesus and the cross, and to each other as the body of Christ. We are called to love one another as Jesus loves us. This requires each of us to check our pride and humble ourselves in order to reconcile with one another. The foundation of reconciliation is Yeshua's blood on the cross, and the goal is Shalom, peace. Yeshua/Jesus demonstrated his perfect love laying down his life in God's plan for salvation for those who have faith. 2Cor5:14-15 "For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised." 2Cor 5:17-19 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrrusting to us 'the message of reconciliation.'"
