Welcome Back to the Tradition's Finest Podcast! This Week's Episode is titled "The Herm Edwards (b/c historically athletes do not select the No. 46 as their jersey number so the pot was super limited) Episode"
Here is a brief description of a few of the topics discussed on this week's episode:
- NFL: Tyreek Hill - and all parties involved - really missed out on a great opportunity to be a guest on the talk show "Maury"
- Niners WR Brandon Aiyuk has officially requested Aitrade?
- The Donald Trump Assassination Attempt (and how it could have directly affected the sudden surge of professional athletes that have publicly endorsed him for POTUS)
- MLB: JD was Right ;) Rookie pitcher Paul Skenes has been named a starter for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game
- "Make the Home Run Derby Great Again:" Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Ingrid Andress delivered the all-time worst performance of the National Anthem - update?
- Teoscar Hernandez is the first Dodgers player to ever win the Home Run Derby (but he was most likely the "last" player allowed to bring his wife onto the field!)
- Olympic News: Team USA Men's Basketball defeats an NBA-loaded Team Canada 86-72...but what about the offensive woes, what say you, Steph Curry?
- NCAA: Former Alabama HC and current ESPN college football commentator Nick Saban won the 'Icon award' at the 2024 ESPY's Award Show last Thursday evening - and somewhere between that night & the following Monday morning, he "lost" his credentials to gain entry into day 1 of the 'SEC Media Days.' Saban also gives his prediction for the SEC Conference Championship Game (and has officially achieved "Naysayer" status?)
- A cultural issue at the University of Georgia? Three more players including starting LB Smael Mondon, Jr. were arrested in Athens for 'reckless driving.'
- JD & Spencer's "2024 Big Ten Conference College Football Season Preview:" We selected six teams and each provided a team by team breakdown along with each team's 'best' and 'worst-case scenario' as well as Our Individual (or Independent) predictions!
- Will a team (or teams) from the Big Ten Conference make it into the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff? JD & Spencer give their thoughts...
Thanks for Listening, guys!
P.S. Tune in next week as JD & Spencer will preview the next Conference on this list....the SEC Conference...you don't wanna miss this!
Have a Great Week!
