- NCAA Men's College Basketball: University of Florida HC Todd Golden is facing a Title IX stalking probe/investigation after he was blasted in UF's local newspaper 'The Alligator'. . . . Complaint included reports of unwanted sexual advances, stalking, cyberstalking (and allegedly for being a "Creeper"), however, Golden was allowed to coach the Gators in their second game of the season on Monday evening. . . & also received a "standing ovation" in support. . . Based off Golden being allowed to remain with the team, it really makes you wonder about the "validity" of the accusations as well as the strength of the reports/findings as associated with the current investigation by the U.S. Department of Education.
- "Houston, We Have a Problem!" . . .or Houston, Auburn's Basketball Team had a huge problem getting off the ground last Friday night. . .following the "plane incident," the No. 11-ranked Auburn Tigers pulled off the upset over No. 4-ranked Houston 74-69. . . Is Auburn, barring any sudden castatrophe amongst their players, one of the best NCAA Men's College Basketball Teams this season?. . . & a massive shoutout to Tigers' Dylan Cardwell for "keeping it 100" following the game. . .
- NBA: The Cleveland Cavaliers had to rally versus both the Brooklyn Nets & Chicago Bulls last Saturday & Monday evenings, respectively, to remain undefeated at now 12-0. . . the Cavs are the 8th team in NBA history to begin a season with 12 straight wins. . . the last time Cleveland won 13 games in a row - which has occurred three times in franchise history - with a certain "hometown icon". . .
- The Golden State Warriors gave out Captain's or "Sailor's" hats on Tuesday night to honor the return of Mavericks SG Klay Thompson since departing the team in last NBA offseason in FA. . . "A Salute to Captain Klay?"
- NCAA - News & Storylines: RIP Ben Herbstreit. . . Kirk Herbstreit & the College Gameday crew released a tribute-style segment last Saturday that was incredibly sad. . . "the downfall of dogs, Man's best friend, is that they don't live long enough". . . Ben, a ten-year old golden retriever, was diagnosed with Leukemia & Lymphoma back in March, and passed away last Thursday after the cancer had spread. . . the CFB world has grieved, and Herbstreit has received a countless number of posts on social media to show their support. . . I guess there is still some "good" people in the world after all, huh?
- On Thursday, University of Florida AD Scott Stricklin announced that Gators CFB HC Billy Napier will continue in his role through the 2024 CFB season & beyond. . . Bohannon helped establish the program with four FCS playoff appearances. . . What did the Kennesaw State AD expect to happen in the program's first season at the FBS level?. . . Was this a "rushed" or "bad move" by the program?
- University of Georgia HC Kirby Smart responded to the viral video of Bulldogs player & DB Jake Pope celebrating postgame following the team's tough loss in Oxford in Week 11. . . Smart responded "What an idiot. Just stupid." without any context. . . DB Jake Pope did release a statement via Twitter/X on Monday apologizing to his teammates, coaches & the Georgia fanbase, but after Pope provided context, How do you view Smart's comments?. . .
