Hello Pilgrims and welcome back to the podcast.
We started the show off on a somber note. It’s officially, official. Tom Brady has retired from the NFL and Jason is distraught, disheartened, and disappointed. But then he was also publicly dissed, by Mike for his awkward and unbecoming man-crush.
Trying to save the episode from a total loss, we quickly shifted gears to discuss Spotify’s conundrum of wanting to be on the right side of history, but not wanting to cancel Joe Rogen; the most popular podcaster in America. This led us to the realization that as goes the culture, so goes capitalism.
Next we turned our attention to America’s neighbors across the northern border. We discussed Canada’s freedom convoy and how they are being represented by America’s mainstream media, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Notrudeau, and how this lines up with reality.
This was a great transition for us, as we turned to Jude to discuss the Biblical command to contend for the faith. We spent time in God’s word trying to understand what it means to stand up for the faith and to protect ourselves and our families against all enemies of the gospel. We also looked at Paul’s instruction to Timothy, as we gauged the current culture and “American Christianity” in an effort to encourage our Pilgrims to protect their faith and their family at all costs.
Thanks again for joining us pilgrims. Enjoy the podcast and stay pugnacious.
