Hello pilgrims and welcome back to the podcast. Well, we went live today (on Youtube) and although things didn’t go down without a hitch, we still had some fun and enjoyed the interaction we received with those that jumped in with us. We started the show talking about the passing of Mike’s favorite comic of all time and how he seemed to walk a line in comedy that most folks have become afraid to walk in today’s new cancel culture. We also discussed his faith and his loyalty to his friend Rosanne, even when everyone else seemed to turn on her. This was a great segway into our topic of the evening, which was Friendship. We tested the waters of “true friendship” by giving a friendship test to a friend of the podcast, Derek. Needless to say, he failed the test. But it was a great opportunity for Mike and I to discuss what real friendship looks like and why deep friendship, in a world sold on social media, is not only important but crucial.
