Well, this year is ending on a high note. Jake from State Farm, joined us on the podcast again and we had a lot to catch up on.
Jake told us a story about his new hat which brought up a natural question about Stormy Daniels. We than discussed the unexpected “let’s go Brandon” moment on Christmas Eve, followed by the very expected “MAGA hate” response from the mainstream media.
All of this was a natural lead-in to our main conversation of the night; namely the idea of New Year’s Resolutions and whether they are helpful…or just another closeted virtue signal. We looked to Ephesians 4, to see what New Life really looks like, and in doing so our hope wasn’t to throw a wet blanket on resolutions, but rather to invite our pilgrims to examine why we make resolutions and why they typically fall short of their intended purposes.
