Yes, there is a Prologue; as Shakespeare puts it: "Enter Chorus." Most of us are used to the Prince starting the play, but that's generally a director's choice. The Chorus returns briefly for a Prologue to Act 2, never to be heard from again. This oddity is similar to Benvolio's disappearance after the events in Act 3.
