OrEd-T-21.1-Intro.The Inner Picture
1. Projection makes perception. The world I see is what I gave it, nothing more nor less. Therefore, to me it is important. The world is the witness to my state of mind, the outside picture of an inward condition. As a man thinks, so does he perceive. Therefore, I do not seek to change the world, but I will to change my mind about the world. Perception is a result, not a cause. That is why order of difficulty in miracles is meaningless. Everything looked upon with vision is healed and holy. Everything perceived without vision means nothing. And where there is no meaning, there is chaos.
2. Damnation is my judgment on myself, and I will project this upon the world. See the world as damned, and I see what I did to hurt the Son of God. If I behold disaster and catastrophe, I tried to crucify him. If I see holiness and hope, I will join with the Will of God to set him free. There is no choice that lies between these two decisions. And I will see the witness to the choice I made. I learn from what I see to recognize which one was chosen. The world shows me how much joy I have allowed myself to see in myself and to accept as mine. And if this IS the world's meaning, then the power to give joy to the world must lie within me.
