Didn't the kids of Sullivans Island and Isle of Palms get just as good of an education with the quality staff, teachers and parents when they were in the old Mamie Whitesides building? How much is the insurance on an Oceanfront School? Why doesn't Charleston County think through what is the best use of resources, like selling the Oceanfront land for perhaps enough money to build a new school instead of having so much capital tied up in the dirt/sand? Everyone wonder why Charleston County schools are underfunded and overcrowded?
