New series starts today talking about the Sermon on the Mount, the Beatitudes, and how to be more like Jesus. This one starts with Matthew 5: 3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
contrite, repentance, humble are some of the words in this. Those that think they are full, they think they lack nothing, they don't know or realize that they need Jesus, they may think they have lived a good enough life, and trust in their own ways instead of confessing that they are empty inside and that they need Jesus Christ, they don't know their true state, and so these are the ones that are in worse condition.
