Todays message asks you to watch and pray. In other words, the closer we draw to the second coming of Christ, the more urgent it is that we awake out of spiritual sleep! To "watchful" means to be vigilant and on guard, fully awake, aware, alert and intently focused—with several applications and implications.
Matthew 26:41
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Luke 21:36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Colossians 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
