Day 3 of our ‘Exposing Islam’ series continues here on TRUNEWS, with an emphasis on the theological challenges facing the Church in response to worldwide jihad. Today’s broadcast features Dr. Michael Youssef of ‘Leading The Way’; Isik Abla, who suffered directly under the hand of radical Islam; and Dr. Erwin Lutzer, taking a strong stand against Islamic infiltrators in the West.
DR. MICHAEL YOUSSEF
Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef is a worldwide ministry that leads the way for people living in spiritual darkness to discover the light of Christ through the creative use of media and on-the-ground ministry teams. His weekly television programs and daily radio programs are broadcast more than 4,000 times per week in 24 languages to more than 190 countries. He is also the founding pastor of The Church of The Apostles in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Youssef was born in Egypt, and in 1984, he became an American citizen. He has authored more than 30 books. His upcoming book, “Jesus, Jihad and Peace: What Does Bible Prophecy Say About World Events Today?”, is set for release this month.
ISIK ABLA
Isik Abla was born in Istanbul, Turkey, and fled to America in 1996 to escape abuse. Unfortunately, in America, she found herself in another abusive relationship. On the day Abla was planning to end her life, Jesus revealed himself to her and she surrendered her life to Him.
In 2005, Abla married a godly man and they were ordained by World Bible Way Fellowship.
In 2009, Abla began hosting a satellite TV program called Light for the Heart on the Kanal Hayat Turkish-language channel. Two years later, she added a live call-in program, The Way, The Truth and The Life, which is simulcast on the Turkish and Farsi channels throughout the Middle East and Europe. English programs were added in 2013.
DR. ERWIN LUTZER
Since 1980, Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer has served as Senior Pastor of The Moody Church in Chicago. A clear expositor of the Bible, he is the featured speaker on three radio programs that are heard on more than 1,000 outlets in the United States and around the world: Moody Church Hour, Songs in the Night, and Running to Win.
Dr. Lutzer is also an award-winning author of numerous books including: The Cross in the Shadow of the Crescent, The King Is Coming, Covering Your Life in Prayer, and Christian Bookseller’s Gold Medallion Award winner Hitler’s Cross.
