In Genesis 3:1-9, after Eve took the forbidden fruit, God came looking for Adam to get his version of exactly what happened. However, Adam was not where he was supposed to be. He had lost his connection to God, and could not properly recognize the sound of the Lord, when the time came. For most of us, there are times where we lose that connection to God, and cannot hear the sounds we need to, such as God's voice when he calls us, or when he commands us to be faithful to Him. How do we keep that connection? How do we properly hear the sound of his voice.
