Why can't I buy a bazooka, a flame thrower, or some hand grenades? Isn't it my constitutional 2nd amendment right to own and bear arms? Actually, NO. Public firearm safety requires that NO individual citizen or group has the right to own and bear weapons of mass killing. Oh, except for the type of guns called assault rifles, such as the AR-15, and pump action shotguns. Any eighteen or nineteen year old can buy these, and then go kill lots of people at a school or night club. Sensible?
