Where Matthew spoke to his Jewish family, Mark address a Gentile Roman audience and all that genealogy stuff and quoting from the Old Testament was a waste of time for an audience who didn't care about that [good] stuff. There are some things brought out in Marks Gospel that you won't see anywhere else in the Gospels.
His Mother was a wealthy and prominent Christian in the Jerusalem church and Mark wrote as a Pastor to Christians who previously had heard and believed the Gospel.. but his Gospel is unique because it emphasizes Jesus' actions more than His teaching. It is simply written, moving quickly from one episode in the life of Christ to another. So, yeah, you're thinking about blaspheming the Holy Ghost?
