The more things change... the more they STAY the same! First Slavery, and then Share Cropping, and then Jim Crow, and then Prison, and then there's the Church! Its Theology Thursday on The Sir Walter Jones Show and I want to address another problem among the brethren. We are in a battle of the MINDS and the Will of Man and that battle seem to be fought mostly in the black church and the prisons. You wanna find out where all the black women hang out? Knock on the church doors.. guess where all the black men hang out? Yep, you figured it out.. the Prisons. And you know what? Both places aren't necessarily on a voluntary basis.. sure, we have choices, but this is a SYSTEM working against us. What's the difference between a Warden and "some" Pastors? Answer? Not so much!
