Do you not realize that the only time you hear any Old Testament talk in Church is when you hear sermons or quotes from "Enlarge my territory.. or I know the plans I have for you... or If my people who are called... or the 3 Hebrew boys (Shadrak, Meeshak and a Billy Goat)... or that scary and manipulative.. Will a man rob God? That's pretty much IT.. but WHY? Surely we are the New Testament Church, but why do we feel liberty to sneak over to the OT and borrow a few quotes and then close the book to all that "an Pooky Begat Shaquisha" stuff? Why we say we obey the "Law" but eat pork sausage and cat fish?
The Sir Walter Jones Show will take you through a journey of the Old Testament and explain why its so important to know your Christian history... for WITHOUT the OT, we wouldn't really understand the words of Christ Jesus in the NT. We don't get along with our Hebrew brothers and sisters mainly because we don't know their story.. which is stamped all through the O.T. Yeah, it can sometimes be very boring reading, but so are some of yall's testimonies and sermons.
