#merchant priests were in charge of all things to do with commerce. They had to make sure that there was no #corruption, #trade flowed well and without hindrance. Equal #terms for everyone. No #war but trade. #Goods of good quality for reasonable #prices. Making sure that #everyone had a decent #standard of #living with #fair and #sustainable good.
