Beginning our study on the 7 churches Jesus addressed in Revelation chapters 2&3. The first church, Ephesus, was a church that was commendable in many areas. They labored, hated evil, had discernment, and worked for the cause of Christ. However, one serious problem was that they had left their first love. They no longer loved Christ as they once did. Jesus warned that if they didn’t repent, He would remove their candlestick. How about you believer? Do you love Jesus today as you did at the first?
