It blows my mind the extreme of our feelings as a parent. This, my friend, then becomes complicated with the busyness. We've got to do everything now!! And that's where you land every day. Living life in a fast-paced world. Yet, what if you could slow down and smell the roses? What if you could plan ahead in order not to miss what's ahead? It's the 360° view that needs your focus. The K.I.S.S. ~ Plan from 360° view! This is a great time to think about how you think about things in your life, the way you see your family, and how you want to be when they are grown.
- Benefits before profits. Don't make decisions based on future profits. There is no money guarantee on anything, even the Powerball. So be more proactive in their interests, not their potential earnings.
- Love before division. What you think is best for your child is not always the case. But please understand, there are exceptions to every rule. However, what I mean to love before division puts your heart with your family's heart. When you see them, there is no division.
- Dreams before ultimatums. You want what's best for your children. Who doesn't? So be cautious not to let what you didn't get to do growing up be impressed upon them. Let them reach for their dreams, and then encourage them to reach for the stars.
You have plans for your children, but so does God.
