I don't know about you, but when I awake, there are days that the weight on my shoulders seems too great to bear. Yet, I carry all the baggage everywhere I go that day. And if something else happens, I just pile it on and continue on with my day. Soon, I'm buried in the CRAP that I'm choosing not to leave at the foot of the cross. The K.I.S.S. ~ Refresh your faith! What God desires is for you to be accepting of His love and grace. Now, He could force it upon you and me. It wouldn't be love if you didn't have a choice. What God wants from you most is for you to choose Him. He doesn't want to pressure you or require you. He wants you to say YES by CHOICE! Are you willing to do that every day? Are you willing to rise up when you awake and say, "Yes, Lord!"? Are you willing to leave your worldly distractions at the foot of the cross and focus on His heavenly plans for you here on earth? When we walk with God, it's a daily commitment. It's not a one-and-done. God wants to commune with you. He wants all of you, not your leftovers, not just your 911 calls. Yes, He will always be there with you. But He wants you to always be there with Him. So what do your days look like? Is there room for God? Are you willing to make space and time for Him? Are you ready to refresh your faith on a daily basis? You don't have to be perfect. You just get to be you; fearfully and wonderfully made.
