After a few weeks off, the Scam central worked overtime and we discussed a double-whammy; The IRS scam is back again and so is a new more expensive ransomware called CryptoWall. Be vigilant and be aware of the signs of these attacks. Plus remember never send anyone anonymous money. These types of scams solicit funds by way of non-traceable monies.
Later we discussed information regarding Chrysler's recall of 1.4 million vehicles to have software update following a proven hack whereas various systems were taken over by hackers by way of the head unit (entertainment system). Check with your dealer to make sure that you get any recall services you are eligible for done.
