Jeanette Ward was elected in April 2015 to the U-46 School Board in Illinois. She is running for re-election. Her life is a testimony to the fact that starting out poor in America does not mean you will remain poor. Jeanette was raised in rural PA, completed three college degrees (B.S., M.S., and M.B.A.) and often travels internationally as an employee of a multinational chemical company She has been married to Bill Ward for 23 years and lived in the U-46 district for 20 years. They have two. She is a doula and competes in CrossFit competitions and Tough Mudders.
