Lauren Wilson is a writer with a curious mind. With an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and a love of research, she has built her career on tumbling down cultural rabbit holes. Her work has focused on digesting big topics and distilling them into fun and approachable formats, whether they be freelance articles or fully realized books. After studying marketing at Montreal’s McGill University and working in the environmental non-profit sphere, Lauren decided to switch gears and did chef training at George Brown Chef School in Toronto. She has since worked in various capacities in the food and hospitality industry in both Toronto and New York. In the decade since Lauren began writing about food, she has dovetailed into topics she is equally passionate about and her most recent writing has focused on advocating for the medical and personal use of hemp and cannabis for health and wellness.
