In today’s Wisdom Nugget, we will journey into God’s Word. In this episode, we’ll continue our exploration of Psalm 40, focusing on verses 9 through 12 from the New Living Translation. In these verses, David shifts his focus from personal praise and thanksgiving to sharing God’s goodness with others and seeking God’s mercy in the face of overwhelming challenges. This passage is a beautiful blend of gratitude, proclamation, and dependence on God, offering profound lessons for our faith journey. Let’s begin by reading the passage together: Psalm 40:9-12 (NLT) 9 I have told all Your people about Your justice. I have not been afraid to speak out, as You, O Lord, well know. 10 I have not kept the good news of Your justice hidden in my heart; I have talked about Your faithfulness and saving power. I have told everyone in the great assembly of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. 11 Lord, don’t hold back Your tender mercies from me. Let Your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me. 12 For troubles surround me— too many to count! My sins pile up so high I can’t see my way out. They outnumber the hairs on my head. I have lost all courage.

• Proclaiming God’s Justice and Faithfulness (Verses 9-10):
