Description

THE SCP landed another big fish for this episode, Dr. Austin Smith of Cambridge UK. In the second half of the show we interview Dr. Smith and get his take on the world of all things pluripotency. We talk about his views on the ground state of pluripotency and how he attempted to drill down into the essential components of the pluripotency network using computer modeling.   Before we get there, as always Yosif and I update you on the latest news with our round ups, talking about a range of topics from using stem cells to create a thymus, stem cells to cure stiff person syndrome, humans develop more like lizards than other mammals, methane gas from sea floor, Riken study to verify STAP fails, and a bunch more.   Then we close with a rant about bogus science conferences.

Enjoy!
