On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Gerald Peter, a wonderful composer of music and a great artist here to share some awesome music.
Pipeman starts by complimenting his latest music, saying how love the influences of many different genres. Gerald says he has always been that way as he has always listened to a lot of different kinds of music and uses them to express different emotions.
Pipeman asks about what the creative flow was for Gerald to write his new album Incremental Changes pt.2. He says it all starts with the piano which is where he can express himself. He records these sessions and uses what he likes to create some awesome songs
Gerald started composing when he was 14 years old, which is over 20 years ago now. It started easy but quickly he got into progressive and experimental song writing. Later he would become more interested in other types of music, which he tries to incorporate into his music.
Interestingly, Gerald didn’t have the same result of the pandemic as so many other artists had, with being able to focus on the music while everything else was shut down. Covid was actually an inspiration killer for him, and he didn’t write any new music at all.
