Marc interviews GOP Congressional candidate Art Halvorson. Halvorson, a Bedford County businessman, is challenging Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. Bill Shuster for the 9th Congressional District seat.
Halvorson is a U.S. Coast Guard Academy graduate and rescue helicopter pilot. While in the Coast Guard he began investing in real estate and after he retired from the service in 2006, he went on to start four companies that manage commercial real estate around the country. He is a member of the Gideon’s International, the National Rifle Association and Crossroads Bible Church, in Bedford, PA. He has also served as President of Officers’ Christian Fellowship.
